So they are not part of the problem right now. Is it because this voltage spike on the drain of the top FET also creates a voltage spike on the gate as it is irf3710 and this spike gets absorbed by the driver irf3710 and burns the chip? Should I maybe use a larger resistor in series with the gate to ir3f710 the driver against possible reverse currents?
While I will have overcurrent protection in the final circuit, I still find irf3710 quite bad and would like irf3710 make sure that chances of this kind of failure are close irf3710 nonexistent. Also on irf3710 test circuit irf3710 rightmost sensing voltage divider resistors are not mounted.
Is irf33710 possible to irf3710 way too low here? I’m aware that the driver is perhaps not the optimal chip to drive these large mosfets because it can only provide mA of gate drive current. irf3710
